Ave Maria

Annie Artise has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 5th, 2014. The sophomore out of St. Petersburg, Fla. led the Green and Blue on the week when they faced off against NAIA II No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan and conference foe Webber International. The 5-10 guard averaged 11 points and 6.7 rebounds over the three games.

The Lady Gyrenes return to the court on Thursday when they host Northwood (Fla.) in double-header action with the men's team. Tip-off is set for 5p.m.
