Cassie Kreiger has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 12th, 2014. The senior guard averaged 14 points, 5.5 rebounds, and three assists per game for the Lady Gyrenes in route to a 1-1 week. She also finished shooting 81.25% from the charity stripe over the two games.

The Lady Gyrenes are back on the hardwood on Thursday when they travel to Thomas University for a Sun Conference double-header with the men's team. Tip off in Thomasville, Ga. is set for 5:30p.m.
