Ave Maria

Tamica Mora has been chosen as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 19th, 2014. This past week the Clermont, Fla. native led the Green and Blue to a 2-0 record in Sun Conference action. The senior guard averaged 17.5 points, two assists, and two steals over the two games and also finished shooting 60% (6-10) from beyond the arc and 90% (9-10) from the charity stripe.

The Lady Gyrenes improve to 12-7, 4-2 TSC on the season. They are back in action on Tuesday when they host Florida Memorial at the Tom Golisano Field house. Tip-off is slated for 5p.m.
