Emily Lemin has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 2nd, 2014. The 6-0 junior out of Eastlake, Ohio tossed a complete game in the Green and Blue's 2-1 victory over Nova Southeastern on Saturday for her first win of the season. The lefty gave up just one run on nine hits and two walks and struck out four.

The Lady Gyrenes are back in action on Friday when they host Broward College for a double-header at the AMU Softball Field. The first pitch is slated for 2p.m.
