Tamica Mora has been chosen as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 2nd, 2014. The Clermont, Fla. native led the Green and Blue to a to three post-season wins and a Sun Conference Tournament championship this past week. She averaged 15.3 points, four rebounds, three steals, and 2.3 assists per game and was named to TSC All-Tournament team.
The Lady Gyrenes travel to Uniontown, Pa. this week to compete in the USCAA National Tournament. They will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed and take on St. Joseph’s College-Brooklyn in opening-round action on Wednesday at 1p.m.
