Matt Chattin has been chosen as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 2nd, 2014. The Groveland, Fla. native led the Green and Blue to a 1-1 week in Sun Conference Tournament action. The senior guard averaged 21 points, 1.5 assists, and one steal per game in the final week of his collegiate career. 

The Gyrenes finished the 2013-14 season with a 12-19, 5-13 TSC record.
