Ave Maria

Emily Lemin has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 16th, 2014. The 6-0 lefthander finished a stellar week on the mound, throwing three complete games for three wins as the Lady Gyrenes went 7-1. The junior out of Eastlake, Ohio finished the week allowing just two earned runs in 21 innings pitched and struck out 14 batters. Her week was highlighted by a shut-out victory over No. 5 Saint Xavier allowing just four hits in the game. 

The Green and Blue are back in action on Tuesday when they host Hastings (Neb.) for a doubleheader beginning at 2p.m. at the AMU Softball Field.
