Zach Quayle has been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 16th, 2014. The junior righthander out of Knoxville, Tenn. recorded a 1-0 record this week after pitching eight shut-out innings allowing just three hits and striking out five.

The Gyrenes return to the field on Wednesday when they travel to Eckerd College. The first pitch is slated for 6p.m. in St. Petersburg.
