Austin Munn been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 14th, 2014. The sophomore right-hander recorded a save in game one versus USCB and was the winning pitcher in the Gyrenes comeback win in game three against the Sand Sharks. For the week, Munn surrendered no hits while striking out eight batters in five innings of work.

The Gyrenes return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Florida Memorial for a mid-week matchup beginning at 4p.m.
