Kingsley Avery has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 21st, 2014. The sophomore outfielder led the AMU effort in their doubleheader sweep of Warner on Thursday, finishing 6-for-9 (.667) with two runs scored, two RBI, and three stolen bases on the day. 

The Lady Gyrenes return to action at home on Friday when they welcome the Night Hawks of Thomas University to the AMU Softball Field for a conference doubleheader slated to begin at 1p.m.
