Kayla Hanel has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week ending October 28, 2012. Hanel, a freshman goalkeeper out of St. Augustine, Fla., recorded her third shutout of the season, Friday. The Lady Gyrenes beat Florida Memorial 1-0. Hanel had nine saves on the night.

The Ave Maria Women's Soccer team wraps up its season at home, Friday, versus Palm Beach Atlantic University.
