Lauren Dunleavy has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 21st, 2014. Dunleavy led the Lady Gyrene cross country team with a time of 20:54.78 in the 5k at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational this past weekend. 

The Lady Gyrenes are back in action this weekend, when they travel to Valdosta, Ga. to run in the VSU Cross Country Opener hosted by Valdosta State.
