Clayton Uecker has been selected as Ave Maria’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 12th, 2014. Uecker led the Gyrenes in rushing with 47 yards on the ground and in passing with 276 yards through the air. He finished 18-for -36 with two touchdowns and one interception.

The Gyrenes sit at 1-5 overall heading into next week's matchup against Southeastern at AMU Football Field.
