Nick Dorgan has been selected as Ave Maria’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 16th, 2014. 

The 6-3 junior linebacker had an impressive performance in the Gyrenes season finale win over The Apprentice School.  He tallied five solo tackles while assisting on three others. Dorgan finished the afternoon with eight total tackles, five tackles coming for a loss of 20 yards, 2.5 sacks, and forced a fumble.

The Gyrenes concluded the 2014 season on Saturday with the 35-8 win over the Builders and finish the season with a (5-6, 3-2 TSC) record.
