Annie Artise has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 23rd, 2014. This is the second-consecutive week that Annie has received the weekly honor.

Annie averaged 13.5 points and nine rebounds to help the Gyrenes to a 1-1 week. She tallied 12 points and six rebounds in a 78-41 win at Florida College before finishing with her fourth double-double of the season against Flagler with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Gyrenes return to the court after Thanksgiving break when they travel to Webber International on Dec. 2.
