Wendell Powell has been selected as Ave Maria’s Co-Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 30th, 2014. The senior forward tallied 16 points and five rebounds in a 55-51 loss at Florida College last week. He finished the week with a team-high 16 points and three rebounds in an exhibition loss to Florida Atlantic on Sunday. 

The Gyrenes return to action on Saturday when they open up conference play at Webber International. Tip-off is slated for 7p.m. in Babson Park, Fla.
