Madison McDonald has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 7th, 2014. This is the second time this season that Madison has received the weekly honor.

Madison averaged 13.7 points over three games last week for the Lady Gyrenes. She shot 53.8 percent (14-of-26) from the field and totalled 11 rebounds and nine assists in the three games. She helped Ave Maria to a 2-1 week. 

The Lady Gyrenes return to the court on Wednesday when they host Johnson & Wales in a conference matchup. The contest is set to begin at 6 p.m.
