Yvanessa Vincent has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 14th, 2014. This is the first time this season that Vincent has received the weekly honor.

Yvanessa scored eight points and recorded a team-best seven rebounds in the Gyrenes 75-58 win over conference foe Johnson & Wales last week.  

The Lady Gyrenes return to the court on Dec. 29th and 30th when they host St. Catharine. The contests are set to begin at 2 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively.
