Taylor Lindsey has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 11th, 2015. This is the first time this season that Taylor has received the weekly honor. 

Lindsey averaged 13 points over two contests this week. The 5-7 freshman tallied 16 points against St. Thomas, going 4-for-7 from behind the arc, and 10 points at Embry-Riddle on Saturday. Lindsey has scored in double-figures in four games this season.

The Lady Gyrenes are back in action three times this week when they travel to Clearwater Christian on Tuesday before taking on Southeastern at home on Thursday and traveling to Florida Memorial on Saturday.
