Marianna Vargas Ingoglia has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 14, 2015. This is the first time in her career that Marianna has received the weekly honor.

The sophomore tennis player won her No. 1 singles match against Warner 6-3, 6-4. Vargas and her doubles partner, Mary Kate Lee also also defeated their opponent 8-4.

The AMU Tennis team is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Miami Gardens for a match against St. Thomas beginning at 1p.m.
