Mary Kate Lee has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 1, 2015.

The junior tennis player won her #2 singles competition 6-2, 6-2 and her #1 doubles competition with Marianna Vargas 8-0.

Both tennis teams  return to action on Feb. 28 when they travel to West Palm Beach to take on Northwood University in a 10 a.m. start. This will be the final Sun Conference match of the season for both teams before finishing with several non-conference match-ups.
