Kingsley Avery has been selected as the Female Athlete of the Week for the wek ending March 8, 2015. This is the second selection for Avery this season.

Avery, a junior outfieldgder, hit at a .692 clip (9-of-13) over four games this week to help the Lady Gyrenes to a 2-2 record. She went 4-for-4 against Edward Waters in game two with two doubles, a triple, two runs scored, and a RBI. In game two against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, she went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. On the week, she finished with three runs scored, three doubles, a triple, and three RBI.
