Erin Murphy has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week ending November, 18, 2012. Murphy, a junior forward out of Altamonte Springs, Fla., tallied 21 points in the Lady Gyrenes’ only game this week.  The Lady Gyrenes beat Clearwater Christian College in an overwhelming fashion, 84-43. Murphy neared a triple double for AMU on Saturday with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.
 
The Lady Gyrenes return to action on the road versus Eckerd College on November 28th. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
