Women's Soccer's Sarah McBride has been named this week's Female Athlete of the Week. It's the first time this season that she has been named the Gyrenes Female Athlete of the Week. 

After recording her first collegiate point on an assist against Trinity Baptist, McBride netted her first collegiate goals against Florida College on Saturday. She finished the week with two goals and one assist helping the Lady Gyrenes to a 2-0 week.

The Lady Gyrenes return to action on Sep. 16 when they travel to Miami Gardens, Fla., to take Saint Thomas in a non-conference matchup.
