Volleyball's Lauren Ruby has been named this week's Female Athlete of the Week. It's the first time this season that she has been named the Gyrenes Female Athlete of the Week. 

Ruby tallied 54 assists with six service aces and 15 digs in three matches for the Lady Gyrenes. Against Florida College, Ruby recorded 23 assists. She had five service aces against Trinity Baptist earlier in the week.

The Lady Gyrenes return to Tom Golisano Field House this week for three home matches against Webber International, Trinity College (Fla.), and Warner.
