Kiel Lewis has been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week ending November, 18, 2012. Lewis, a senior guard out of Orlando, Fla., tallied 34 points in the Gyrenes’ two games this week. The senior first tallied nine points in an exhibition matchup against Florida Gulf Coast University, Thursday. The Gyrenes then routed Clearwater Christian College on Saturday by a final score of 84-68. Lewis had a team-leading 25 points in the win.
The Gyrenes return to the court, Monday, November 19th against DeVry University at the Tom Golisano Fieldhouse. Tip off is slated for 7p.m.
