Men’s Soccer’s Andrea Salomone has been named this week's Male Athlete of the Week. It's the first time this season that he has been named the Gyrenes Male Athlete of the Week.
Salomone made 10 saves on the week in a pair of tough one-goal losses against (RV) Florida Memorial and St. Thomas. He played all 90 minutes in both games allowing two goals and making six saves against the Lions and making four saves while allowing just one goal against St. Thomas.
The Gyrenes return to action this week with a home contest against Florida College on Tuesday before a pair of road conference matchups against Thomas and SCAD.
