Cross Country’s Shayne Dingman has been named this week's Male Athlete of the Week. It's the first time this season that he has been named the Gyrenes Male Athlete of the Week.
 
Dingman helped the Gyrenes to 20th place finish out of 31teams this past weekend at the USCB Sand Shark Invitational. He paced the Gyrenes with an 8k time of 28:08.
 
The Ave Maria cross country teams will return to action at the Sun Conference Championships on Nov. 7. The meet will be held at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla. and hosted by Southeastern University.
