Women's Basketball's Lauren Gillingham has been named this week's Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Gillingham averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.3 steals over three games this week for the Lady Gyrenes. She shot 45.5 percent from the field and shot 50 percent (8-of-16) from three. She also made 9 of her 12 free throw attempts. Against, Florida Memorial on Saturday, Gillingham totaled 19 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists to lead Ave Maria to their first conference win of the season.
 
AMU travels to Warner on Wednesday before returning to Tom Golisano Field House to take on Thomas on Saturday.
