Softball's Sadie Mosher has been named this week's Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Mosher had a great day both at the plate and in the circle in the Lady Gyrenes doubleheader sweep of Edward Waters on Sunday. She picked up a win and a save against the Tigers. Mosher pitched four innings in AMU's 10-0, 5-inning win in game one. She allowed one hit and walked three while striking out two. In game two, she pitched the final inning, striking out one and walking one to earn the save. At the plate, Mosher went 2-for-3 in both games of the doubleheader (4-for-6 total). She scored four runs and three RBIs. She had one triple. 

Ave Maria returns to action on Friday at home against Maryville in doubleheader action beginning at 1 p.m. AMU then hits the road on Sunday to take on Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) at 10 a.m./12 p.m. in Babson Park.
