Ave Maria

Ramsey Bennett has been named the Ave Maria Athletics Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 3.. Bennett has helped AMU to a 1-1 start. In their opener against Cincinnati Christian, Bennett had two total tackles and a had a key field goal block that he returned for a touchdown to help AMU come away with a win. The touchdown came early in the fourth quarter with AMU leading 29-21. Bennett earned MSC Sun Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his performance.
