Ave Maria

Romig was named the Ave Maria Female Athlete of the Year for 2017-18. Romig posted one of the more productive seasons in school history. The outfielder set a school record in stolen bases, and was in the top five nationally in the category. Romig scored the second-most runs in school history, and led the Gyrenes in hits and batting average. For her efforts, the sophomore was named first team All-Sun Conference.
