Hogan was named the 2017-18 Ave Maria Male Athlete of the Year. Hogan returned to the NAIA National Championship after finishing in third place in the conference. The first team All-Sun Conference selection set a new school record at the USCB Sand Shark Invitational, breaking his own mark.
