Matt Chattin has been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week ending February 3rd, 2013. Chattin, a junior guard out of Groveland, Fla. tallied 56 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals over three games for the Gyrenes. He finished shooting 100%, a perfect (13-13) from the charity stripe on the week. Chattin's week was highlighted by career-high 33 points in the AMU win over Warner on a hot (9-10) from the field, and (4-4) from beyond the arc.
The Gyrenes return to action when they host Southeastern University on Saturday, February 9th. Tip off is slated for 4p.m.
