Kingsley Avery has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week ending April 28th, 2013. Avery, a freshman outfielder out of Auckland, New Zealand led the Lady Gyrenes at the dish this week batting .417 (5-12) including a triple as well as four stolen bases and two runs scored. She also recorded a slugging percentage of .583 on the week.
