Anne Bateman has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week ending September 15th, 2013. Bateman, a freshman forward out of Waymart, Pa. took part in all of the offensive action versus Johnson and Wales this week. She tallied two goals and an assist in the 3-3 tie bringing her season total to five goals and three assists. AMU improves to 2-2-1 on the season.
The Lady Gyrenes are back in action when they take to the field on Tuesday, September 17th against Johnson University, formerly Florida Christian College. The game is set to begin at 7p.m. in Kissimmee, Fla.
