James Desanges has been selected as Ave Maria’s Male Athlete of the Week ending September 22nd, 2013. Desanges, a freshman out of Surrey, England, led the men's golf team at last week's NAIA National Championship Fall Preview hosted by Embry-Riddle. The tournament began with 36-holes on Monday followed by 18-holes on Tuesday in Daytona Beach, Fla. Desanges fired a final round of even-par 72 to finish the tournament at 220 (74-74-72) and in a tie for 18th place individually.
The AMU men's golf team will return to the course on Monday, September 23rd in the 20th Annual Webber Fall Invitational.
