Ashley St. Hubin has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week ending September 29th, 2013. St. Hubin, a sophomore MB out of Fort Myers, Fla. had a breakout weekend for the Lady Gyrenes. St. Hubin recorded a .472 attack percentage over three matches. She tallied 25 kills in 53 total attempts and seven block assists. AMU finished the weekend with a 1-2 record and improved to 4-4 overall.

The Lady Gyrenes are back in action when they take to the court on Friday, October 4th at the Northwood Tournament. Their first match versus Concordia (Mich.) is set to begin at 5p.m. in West Palm Beach, Fla.
