Lauren Dunleavy has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week ending October 13th, 2013. Dunleavy, a junior from Powell, Wyo., led the Lady Gyrenes to a sixth place team finish at the Walt Disney Cross Country Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. Dunleavy raced her way to a 11th place finish in the non-D1 portion of the meet in a time of 20:59.35.

The AMU men's and women's cross country teams next travel to Beaufort, S.C. for the Sand Shark Invitational on Saturday, October 26th.
