Clayton Uecker has been selected as Ave Maria’s Co-Male Athlete of the Week ending October 13th, 2013. Uecker, a freshman quarterback out of Akron, Ohio completed 29-48 passes for 323 yards and five touchdowns in the Gyrenes come-from-behind win, 45-41, over Florida Institute of Technology on Saturday.

The Gyrenes return to the gridiron on Saturday when they host College of Faith at home. Kickoff is set for 1p.m. at Gyrene Field.
