Travis Makauskas has been selected as Ave Maria’s Co-Male Athlete of the Week ending October 27th, 2013. Makauskas, a 5-foot-7 wide receiver out of Jacksonville, Fla. had five catches for a season-high 154 yards and two touchdowns in the AMU 28-13 win over Webber International.

With the win, the Gyrenes improve to 5-2 on the season. They return to the field on Saturday for their final home game of the season when they host Edward Waters College. Kickoff is slated for 1p.m. at Gyrene Field.
