Kurt Joseph has been selected as Ave Maria’s Male Athlete of the Week ending November 3rd, 2013. Joseph, a Miami, Fla. native led the Gyrene defense in the AMU 45-14 route of Edward Waters College on Saturday. The 6-1 junior linebacker finished with 10 total tackles as AMU held the Lions to just 196 yards of total offense on the day.

With the win, the Gyrenes improve to 6-2 on the season. They return to the field on Saturday when they travel to West Point, Ga. to face off against Point University. Kickoff is slated for 12p.m.
