Scott Jones has been selected as Ave Maria’s Male Athlete of the Week ending November 17th, 2013. Jones, a St. Augustine, Fla. native had three touchdowns in the 42-21 win over the Apprentice School on Saturday. The 5-foot-10 junior runningback caught two touchdown passes and rushed for a third in the victory. He finished the day with 22 carries for 93 yards and caught three passes for 33 yards.

The Gyrenes finished the record-setting 2013 season with an 8-2 record.
