Tamica Mora has been selected as Ave Maria's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 1st, 2013. The Clermont, Fla. native led the Lady Gyrenes to their seventh win of the season over Florida College this week. In just 26 minutes of play versus the Falcons she tallied 17 points, four rebounds, and four steals. The Green and Blue won 86-54.

The Lady Gyrenes return to the hardwood on Thursday when they open Sun Conference play against Johnson and Wales at home. Tip off for the double-header with the men's team is slated for 5:30 and 7:30p.m.
