Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CLEARWATER, Fla. --- The Ave Maria volleyball team concluded the Clearwater Christian College Invitational on Saturday, falling to Point Park (Pa.) and host Clearwater Christian. The Blue and Green return to TSC play on Wednesday when they travel to Webber International.

The Lady Gyrenes fell to Point Park (Pa.) in four sets (15-25, 10-25, 25-18, 19-25). Lexy Smith finished with 10 kills and a pair of solo blocks. Hannah Wurster recorded a team-high five blocks followed by Lexie Andric with four. Monique Rivers led the Blue and Green with 10 digs.

In their final match of the Invitational, AMU dropped a three set match to Clearwater Christian College (14-25, 17-25, 19-25). Jessica Schein and Veronika Garcia led the Blue and Green in assists with 26 and 24, respectively. Wurster tallied eight kills in the match to go along with four blocks. Rivers added 16 digs for Ave Maria.

Ave Maria will next take the court on Wednesday when they travel to Babson Park to take on Webber International. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
