Men's Soccer Set For Big Week On The PitchAVE MARIA, Fla. – The Gyrenes men's soccer program will host two Sun Conference opponents this week, welcoming Webber International to Ave Maria on Tuesday and Warner University on Saturday. This coming Thursday, the Blue and Green will do battle with the Florida College Falcons in a non-conference matchup.
Scouting Ave Maria 1-9 (0-7 Sun Conference)Head Coach: Ray Morgan (Second Season) The Gyrenes will enter action this week, in search of their first TSC victory of the year. The Gyrenes will be looking to increase their offensive production this week, having found the back of the net just once in their last seven contests. Freshman Juan Carlos Burcaram has been the catalyst of the AMU offense this season, having notched three goals.

Scouting Webber International 5-7 Overall (1-6 Sun Conference) Head Coach: Neil Cockburn (Seventh Season) The offense of the Warriors comes into Tuesday's matchup with the Gyrenes averaging just under two and half goals per game this season. Ross Clarke has been at the forefront of the WIU offense, having scored five goals on just seven shots on net. Clarke's 11 points are good for the Warriors team lead. The defense of Webber International has carried much of the load this year, recording shutouts in four of the five Warriors victories this season.

Tanner Richardson has tallied 10 goals this season to lead Florida College in goals scored. Payton Anderson's has contributed nine goals and 10 assists to the Falcons offense; his 28 points lead the FC team.

Scouting Warner (5-7-1) (2-4-1 Sun Conference)Head Coach: Drew Stacey (First Season) If the Gyrenes are going to secure a victory over the visiting Warner Royals, they are going to have to slow down Warner's offensive leader Bruno da Silva. The senior forward has scored eight goals this season, knocking in a goal in three of his last four games played. The Royals will be led by their defense, which has allowed two or fewer goals in 10 of their 13 matches this season, good enough for a goals against average of 1.54.
