Box Score TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. --- The Ave Maria men's soccer team fell 5-0 to Florida College on Thursday night in Temple Terrace. The Gyrenes drop to 1-3 overall as they prepare for an exhibition match against Nova Southeastern on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The Blue and Green hung with Florida College for the opening 45 minutes, trailing just 1-0 at the break. An early goal by the Falcons in the second half put the Gyrenes behind 2-0. Florida College would tack on three more goals en route to a 5-0 win over Ave Maria.
 
The Blue and Green had six shots on the night, none on net, compared to nine by the Falcons, who had seven of those shots come on goal. AMU netminders made two saves in the contest. Andrea Salomone and Michael O'Donnell split time in net for the Gyrenes.
