WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. --- The Ave Maria women's soccer team fell on the road to second-ranked Keiser on Saturday, 7-0. The Seahawks scored four goals in the first half and three in the second to take down the Lady Gyrenes.
Amanda Blixt put Keiser on the board with two goals in the first seven minutes. Johanna Engberg and Anna Albage each netted goals in the first half to make the score 4-0 at the break.
In the second half, goals by Molly Lukk in the 47
th minute and two more by Engberg in the 54
th and 57
th minutes gave the Seahawks a 7-0 lead.
Francesca Singleton made 15 saves in net and allowed seven goals. Ave Maria was outshot 35-2.
Ave Maria returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Miami Gardens to take on Florida Memorial at 3 p.m.
