Katie Ringdahl quickly extended that lead to double-figures, 27-16, with a three on AMU's first possession of the second quarter. Late in the second quarter, Kandice Smith and Macarena Corral each hit a three to extend the Gyrenes edge to 19, 46-27, an advantage they held until the half.

AMU outscored Robert Morris 23-20 in the third quarter to maintain their lead and then used a lockdown defensive effort in the fourth quarter to outscore the Eagles 19-5 in the final stanza to close out the game.

The Lady Gyrenes return to Ave Maria for their home and conference opener on Thursday night against Southeastern at 7 p.m.
