Men’s Soccer Earns First Win With 8-1 Victory At Trinity College

Box Score TRINITY, Fla. --- The Ave Maria men's soccer team earned an 8-1 win over Trinity College (Fla.) on Saturday afternoon. The Blue and Green scored five goals in the first half before adding three in the second.
 
The win is the first this season for AMU and the first under head coach Eddie Gaven.
 
Jeff Henkel netted a pair of goals and also tallied an assist in the win. He had three shots. Alvaro Gomez-Garcia also scored a two goals and had an assist. Thomas Wright, Jose Cruz, Adam Roberge, and Bernard Carollo also found the back of the net for AMU.
 
Andrea Salomone picked up the win, allowing no goals and making one save in 57 minutes of play. Michael O'Donnell played the final 33 minutes of the game and allowed one goal.
